Once enrolled, students are automatically re-enrolled for the next term, and you will be contacted via email before the next term begins.
2. General Expectations
Arrival & Sign-In:
All students must sign in and out when arriving and leaving their TATA class. Do not leave children unattended outside the studios. Students must be handed to a TATA teacher or assistant before leaving.
Punctuality:
Students should arrive on time to ensure they do not miss important information. Late arrivals can disrupt learning for others. If students are going to be late, please notify TATA in advance. If arriving less than 15 minutes late, students must still sign in with their teacher or assistant.
Attendance:
If your child will miss a class, notify TATA via email (info@tataUK.co.uk) at least 2 hours in advance. Consistent attendance is important for progress, and missed classes cannot be made up by attending other sessions. Students’ attendance will be monitored for performances or exams.
Collection:
Parents/carers must collect students promptly from outside the Melton Pavilion after class, where students will be returned by a TATA teacher or assistant.
Student Safety:
Students must report any injuries or illnesses before class. Physical contact may be necessary for teaching purposes and will be done respectfully. If you have concerns, please contact the principal.
3. Welcome & Watch
Sessions:
Welcome & Watch sessions at the end of each term allow parents to observe progress. Dates are published in advance and shared via email and social media.
Each student may bring two guests (children at the teacher's discretion).
Photography and filming are not allowed during sessions unless specified. Parents can take individual photos at the end of class, time permitting.
4. Fees
Fees cover the full term. Pro-rata fees apply for late starters.
Payments can be made via ClassesForKids, BACS, or cash. If full payment cannot be made before the term begins, contact TATA to discuss subscription options.
Failure to pay by the due date may result in exclusion from classes.
No refunds are given for missed classes unless specified, but classes may be rescheduled in the event of teacher illness or other emergencies.
5. Uniform
Students must wear the correct uniform for class, which is required for safety and proper participation. Jewelry is not permitted unless for religious reasons.
Lost property is stored for six weeks before being donated to charity. Uniform orders can be placed via info@tataUK.co.uk at the start of each half term.
6. Withdrawal
To withdraw from TATA Youth Theatre, written notice must be given at least half a term in advance. All LAMDA class withdrawals require a full term's notice.
7. Code of Conduct
Behaviour:
Students must behave respectfully and in a disciplined manner at all times. Aggressive or anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated.
Failure to adhere to the code of conduct may result in expulsion from classes.
Bullying will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
Mobile Phones:
The use of mobile phones during class is strictly prohibited, unless directed by the teacher.
Personal Property:
Students are responsible for their personal belongings. TATA cannot be held liable for lost items.
8. Policies

Follow fire evacuation procedures in the event of an alarm.

9. Permission

During enrolment, parents must consent to or opt out of photographic usage for promotional purposes. Consent can be changed at any time by contacting the principal.
10. Waiver
Physical contact may be necessary to assist with student learning. For any concerns, please contact the principal.
11. Communication
Communication regarding students or classes will be sent to the primary account holder. To change the primary account holder, a written notification must be provided. TATA is not responsible for communication delays due to incorrect contact details.
